What does 'minimum' mean? Man those guys are professionals! Know their equipment backwards and forwards.

Basically minimums is the lowest safe altitude under zero visibility. If you don't see the runway at a certain altitude you have to go around. Some airplanes do have the capability of landing in Zero Zero conditions depending on the equipment that they have, and the equipment that the airport has. <-Basically

Good description. Now imagine doing that by yourself, without an autopilot and autothrottle, and without that magic voice calling out altitudes for you.
