Legal for another 2 years!

Wanted to get the ir re-ride out of the way prior to traveling, but the weather wouldn't cooperate.

Turned it into a mini trip to inspect the 993tt I bought at Marshall Goldman prior to it being shipped.

Some 3's, but mostly 4's. My examiner, who I have used before, was an instructor for our Snowbird team (our equivalent to the US Blue Angels).

Jamie, what's the procedure for US/Canada crossings? you had to cross over a specific area? Why the detour?

Not odd, safe. Cross over at the smallest gap to minimize time over water with one engine in case of failure or other emergency.

You must file an eApis form and have it approved, then make first landing at a field with a customs office.

Not legal to fly further than you can glide to shore, however, I usually make that flight directly across and save an hour. On this flight, my examiner was with me, so no shortcuts.
