Pics from Instrument approach practice today

Here's a series of pics from my Instrument practice today. This was my final prep session before getting signed off to go take the check ride. My CFI Matt took these with a point and shoot. I didn't really get to see much as I was under the hood almost the entire time.

Nice work dude.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Gobbles again.

Good luck with the checkride... So strange to me as I have never flown steam gauges, spoiled with glass panel G1000. I am enjoying not training or studying, but need to get started on my IFR soon.

Nah, I've never been airsick. And I spent just under 4 hours under the hood that day in mild turbulence and flying approaches with 30 kt crosswinds on one occasion.

I have had my CFI fill a bag or two sitting next to me though. I'm a sympathetic booter too, so that was rough trying to get back on the ground without both of us hurling all over.

It's been several days and above freezing temps since the last snow. They prolly just melted off.

Can't wait to check out a G1000 some day. For now my Arrow is my cross country machine so until we add a glass cockpit to the flight school, it'll have to do.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone!
