We've had one guy come through and use the Arrow to prep and take his CFI check ride. We get inquiries on the school every day. Just the time honored hurdle of getting people to commit with their money at this point.

We're marketing the open house pretty heavily so hopefully will have a good turnout.

I'm working on AOPA to be featured in an upcoming AOPA Online article and trying to get them to swing through with the "Let's Go Flying" Cirrus SR-22 they are giving away this year.

sounds awesome!

Another idea for your flight school :

If you could manage to get your flight school JAA authorized, you could offer FAA to JAA conversions or even full JAA courses for international students.
I know it`s quite a bit of a hassle but a few friends who are now flying for regional or major airlines did a great part of their training in the US!
So there`s still a great demand for these kind of flight trainings

and as you are still hiring new instructors you could choose specia IPs and go that way now or later down the road when things have established well

JAA authorization is already in the business plan. It's an excellent idea, with plenty of money involved, I'm really just waiting to see what shakes out with the whole visa issue surrounding it.

Thanks for the idea!

I wish I could make it to your open house. Unfortunately I will be in Colombia at the time. I will have to stop by some other time. I'll be there in spirit.
