My fellow TSers, I am very excited to share this bit of personal news with you. For several months now I have been putting the wheels in motion to start my own business. I have always had a passion for all things aviation and space. Finally earning my pilots certificate a couple of years ago has opened an entirely new world for me and my family, and this was the next logical step. Those that know me know I talk about flying all of the time and am constantly encouraging people to try it out and get their license.
I put my money where my mouth is and I have opened the doors on my own flight school -- GT Aviation. I can't describe how stoked I am. Owning and operating a flight school will be a great personal challenge all the while enjoying something I love dearly.

Can you tell I'm excited?

Nice work, dude. Just don't forget the little people Mr. Branson, er Gobbles.

When are you adding the DA-20 to the equipment list?

Just finished taking the hi-res pics of it and the panel. Should have it all updated later.Originally Posted by Chris from Cali

So how hard is it to fly one of them thingies anyways? Isn't there basically just a throttle for gas and a lever that you point opposite the direction you want to go? And then a bunch of complicated buttons that calls air towers and some lights that say "Danger!"?
Doesn't seem too hard . . .

That's awesome, I've been looking into getting my private aviation license for a while now... too bad you're in MD.
Good luck with everything, I wish you the most success!
