WOW man that is GREAT news!!! I was always wondering what your new business was going to be after you mentioned it in the military question thread. I am so happy for you, and I wish you the best of luck. I am sure that you will do great. How are you getting the word out about your school? I love to hear wonderful news like this. Good for you!

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and well wishes!
Words of encouragement from fellow pilots always make me smile. 
As far as getting the word out, we've got some local stuff going but are leveraging the internet quite a bit. DC Pilots list, Facebook group, etc. I'm finishing a press release for AOPA, AvWeb, etc. now.
I think we'll get the industry's attention by simply being a new flight school inside the Flight Restricted Zone here in DC. Schools close now and then, but we're the first to open in the restricted airspace in quite some time.
I know our TS members have very diverse backgrounds so any and all comments or advice are welcome. Feel free to PM anytime.
