I, too, am surprised about how much "Audi" can be seen in this car. Audi is a great brand, but I would still expect Lambo to have their own unique everything despite being under the same corporate umbrella.

Very jealous of your experience! I hope to be able to do something similar at some point.

How would you compare the gallardo to the 430? I personally like Ferrari's more then Lambo's. I have driven a few Ferrari's but never a Lambo. I am sure Lambo's are fun but there are to many negatives (eg. attention, tranny, seats).
You are right about rating the GT2 on top. With a few mods my car handles better and is much faster then the scud and 458 I have driven. And the attention is slight and usually positive, not annoying.
The only neg on the GT2 is the sound is underwhelming.

I was about to get an 09 lp560 to daily drive but somehow you changed my mind.

 

You obviously have a lot to learn.

 

I didn't drive the 430 for that long of a time. I felt the Lamborghini had more power but the Ferrari felt better, especially the transmission. I only hope to drive a GT2 someday, can't comment on the sound of it seeing how I've never been in one but I'm sure the sound of the flat 6 with the turbos isn't THAT underwhelming.
