The Story Behind Reventon ' Project R '

Customizing a vehicle is an artform. You want to add just a flare of uniqueness without ruining an already impressive design from the manufacturers. The devil is in the details. SR Auto Group is quite aware of this as they present their new customized Lamborghini, Project Reventon: Project R is our most high profile, controversial project to date.

Since its arrival 15 months ago onto Canadian soil, it made a monumental debut at the 2010 Vancouver International Auto Show. Renowned for being the first and only modified Lamborghini Reventon in the world, it became an overnight celebrity – even hitting the pages of Autoblog.com.

Hate it or love it – it drew reviews from critics, automotive enthusiasts, bloggers and readers worldwide. Sadly, our beloved Project R was destined to be shipped overseas to become part of a private collection.

Fast forward to April 1, 2011 – we receive exciting news that our client has decided to bring back Project R to permanently reside in our SR Gallery. Since then, we began working with PUR Wheels to launch a design with a new concept, exclusively tailored for Project R. Thus, PUR 2W0 was born. The design is solely inspired by the Reventon’s eccentric body lines. The color and finish (lumiere grey) is a custom blend in homage to the unique exterior color by Lamborghini.

In June 2011, Project R was chosen to become the official super car of PUR Wheel’s launch campaign. It is featured in their debut ‘New Concept’ promo video, their online website, and the 1st issue of the PUR Portfolio Collection Book.

 

This car suddenly looks dated next to the Aventador.

The work done is definitely flabbergasting!
Although I must admit I prefer the "normal" Reventon!
