About Philip Porter:
Philip is the author of more than 25 books, mostly on motoring subjects. He has written four with Sir Stirling Moss and one with Murray Walker, plus about 15 on Jaguars. He has twice won the coveted Montagu Trophy awarded by the Guild of Motoring Writers for the best motoring book of the year. His latest book is Ultimate E-type -- The Competition Cars. Philip's small collection includes 9600 HP, the oldest surviving E-type, and 848 CRY, the red roadster in the film, The Italian Job. He also runs the International Jaguar XK Club, the Jaguar E-type Club and publishers Porter Press International.
