Salon Privé Returns To Syon Park Salon Privé Returns To Syon Park
Now in its 7th consecutive year, Salon Privé, which returns to Syon Park from the 5th to 7th September, is very firmly established as the UK's most prestigious Super Car Show and the Chubb Insurance Concours d'Elégance is a calendar highlight amongst enthusiasts, collectors and buyers of modern and classic super cars. It is, however, far more than just a car show having also become a permanent fixture on the London social scene.
Debuts from Aston Martin, Bentley, Overfinch, Rimac and Tushek, guest appearances from pop stars, Olympic athletes and new products from world leading brands marked the opening of the three-day Salon Privé at Syon House today.
The UK’s most prestigious Super Car Show and Concours d’Elégance was the venue chosen for the debut of the Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster, Rimac Concept_One electric hyper car, Renovatio T500 from Croatian super car maker Tushek, Bentley GT Speed, Carozerria Touring Supleggerra’s 2012 Disco Volante and Overfinch’s Range Rover Sport-inspired Limited Edition GTS-X.
Starting with the inaugural 21-mile Tour d’Elégance from the Royal Automobile Club’s Woodcote Park in Epsom to Syon House, over 30 vintage super cars and bikes drove en-convoy to officially open Salon Privé 2012 – complete with a ribbon cutting by Earl George Percy at his ancestral home.
Earl Percy said: “This is a truly wonderful event, and I’m very proud that Syon Park has been chosen as the venue for the last two years and I hope, many more years to come. It is a wonderful showcase of Syon House and the comprehensive refurbishment completed this year. I’m proud to welcome Salon Privé and its sponsors, partners and exhibitors here once again.”
Daley Thompson said: “Super cars, beautiful classic cars, some of my favourite brands and a real best of British flavour – all here at Salon Privé. I’d encourage everyone to come along to Syon Park and experience it for themselves over the next two days.”
