@vtgts: When Aston Martin appointed their local dealer here. They sold x4 their projected sales in the first year. Approximately 125 cars in year 1. I think they have sold around 400 cars by now. So for Lambo it's not that far fetched.

Also remember we have the world's largest Porsche Center(excluding 2 others which are half the size), although this caters for a huge area - it needs the sales to justify the size.

There are 30 for sale on one website right now. Divide prices by 7 and you get equivalent price in US dollars.

I have my name for the first "batch" of 458 Scud, when the time comes up and I am in the market for one I will get it, if not then I'll have to save up and wait for the next model

 

Production has been consistent. Lamborghini is now making strides to become more mainstream, exporting is going to become more difficult, factory lease programs are being offered, and the company has never looked stronger.

 

Apples to Apples my friend. In the world of EXOTICS (Lambo doesn't make a true supercar) 2000 cars is considered mass production. This isn't complicated. In the world of supercars (none of which are mentioned in this thread) 2000 is considered extreme mass production.

What's your definition of a supercar BDP? I think it might be different to most other peoples.....

 

I find certain peoples opinion of a exotics or super car amusing.
