There is a rumor floating around that Murcie successor could feature a CF monocell built by Carbo Tech company which is buiding monocells for McLaren new MP4-12C. This rumor was started by EVO magazine and now I am hearing it again.

I was actually hoping for aluminium rather than CF..guess not.

 

Partnership in research with U of Washington and production of the real chassis are two different things. Again, I am not the author of that rumor, I can not rate its credibility, such rumor exists and I shared it.

The Murcie successor will feature CF chassis, that for sure. Again, there is lack of more detailed information, but CF chassis is for sure. There is not so long to wait for official details will start to appear, so we just have to wait and see.

I have now heard that the NEW car wll be a SC V-6 in order to meet tight DOT-EPA fuel mile restrictions..
