Highest mileage supercar ever recorded?
#37
Total amount of $ spent on the car to date according to EVO : 67,000GBP
Which includes iirc 117 tires, few clutches, LP640 brake upgrade, wheels, Custom exhaust, LP640 tails, lower body paint to appear "LP 670SV-ish".. regular maintenance and a few other things. The only major problem had something to do with the crankshaft, can't recall correctly.
And LOTS of track time!
This guy is indeed my hero. He has another LP640.

Simon is a great guy, he owns 2 Murcielago's and an Aston DBS, he runs a driving experience day at Elvington nr York.
I drove his orange lamborghini 4 years ago at Bruntingthorpe circuit, it was my 40th birthday present from my wife. after 2 laps as a passenger in an Impreza to learn the circuit I had 4 laps driving the Lamborghini with Simon sat in the passenger seat.
The sound of that V12 as I hit an indicated 175mph on the main straight will live with me forever! I remember getting out of the car afterwards and saying to my wife I was going to sell my kids and a kidney plus the house to buy a Murcielago!
The biggest expense Simon had was when a pulley sheared off the crankshaft, something that had only happened to a racing Murcielago before!
He plans to keep SG54LAM and hopes to hit 250000 miles in the future. I've got some pics somewhere of me driving the orange beast, if I can dig them out I'll put some on here.
