I thought that was a good post regarding the ZR1, you made great points, but it definitely is missing the wow factor. I will probably die before I get a Vette over a European car.

Still weighing options and shopping. I'm nervous about driving it to work, what will employees think. The 997 is flashy but a Lambo. That won't stop me from pulling the trigger but I'm more nervous about that than I am about the maintenance (which surprisingly is not as much as you would think).

 

Bump it up 100K and get an LP560...also get a Cayenne GTS for daily duty...and then man-up for SL65 BS

 

CLK63 BS Given the recent prices of around $75k, you will have some change leftover for some proper rims and engine mods.....

Fun car...but nothing compared to a Gallardo....

 

100k budget + do the G! Prices like this don't come around very offten and it's such a great car for $$. March/April could be even better...

At that price point it's very tempting but it's not a 6 speed manual so I'm not sure if I can bring myself to do that. My dd will be an auto and that's enough for me.

Never driven a Gallardo, hopefully this summer I will. I would either get a Gallardo or maybe a 996 GT2 and put some money into it.

I loved my G...BUT I would not get an older one since the LP-560 is not out and looks 10x better IMO...so the older Gs will drop more in price once used LP-560s start hitting the used market
