1966 Buick GS (OR,USA) - $45,000

Exterior: Artic White
Interior: Black leather
Transmission: Automatic Super Turbine 300
Engine: 401 325 HP nail head
Mileage: 137,187
Similar to a GTO, SS or 442. Complete restoration to factory specifications. All Gran Sport features: 401 325 hp nail head, super turbine 300 transmission, heavy duty sport wagon rear end with a 2:90:1 ratio, boxed frame. Optional equipment: bucket seats, console, factory air conditioning.
Seller is third owner of the car and owned it since 1997 when it had 73,000 miles on it. This GS gave many years of trouble free daily driving. The car is originally from southern California and went to its second owner in Oregon around 1992, a Buick collector who really did not do much with the car. Original bill of sale and the build sheet is included. The VIN signifies that it is a Gran Sport and the engine has part of the VIN stamped on it as well, so we can be certain that it is numbers matching. The car has never had rust, always being in the western US has made that possible.
Buicks were built to a higher standard than the other GM brands and this is evident when the car is looked over and very clear when it is driven. The drive train is smooth and powerful. The engine has an abundance of torque and just sounds great. The ST 300 2 speed transmission is equipped with a variable pitch torque converter. This feature is essentially an overdrive in first and second gear, it works really well. With the boxed frame the car has a very solid feel to it and the fit and finish of mid sixties Buicks can't be beat. The car can be driven all day over long distances.
Seller has always wanted to give the car the proper restoration that it deserves. The car was always cared for, extremely solid and complete and also quite rare, it always stands out among the other more common muscle cars.
Restoration details:
-Powder coated frame and suspension components.
-All wear items of the suspension replaced, tie rod ends, bushings, springs, shocks, all brake parts.

-New vinyl top.
This was a very complete restoration. As many original parts were redone as possible and when necessary only the best reproductions were used. Everything works great, the car really is turn key and ready to go anywhere. It goes down the road straight and true; lot's of power and very smooth. The A/C blows cold and was charged with freeze 12, a readily available r12 replacement. This GS sounds and looks great. For a complete portfolio of the restoration, more photos of the car and a video contact seller for a link.
MANY, MANY MORE PHOTOS AND A VIDEO AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. Photos are organized on this ad with the main photo of what the car is now, the rest are before and after of the restoration process. Potential Buyers need to see the rest of the photos to truly appreciate the restoration process!
