Lotus Exige V6 S Road Test
#92
In my opinion, the fact that the new Exige is even being discussed as being in the same league as the GT3, is a testament to how good it is. Not a lot of cars can be discussed in that manner.

Photoshop to make the ugly back a little bit less heavy (changed the color of top of rear wing in Black (because) the orange makes the back to high.
Black alu wing support (instead of silver)
Carbon inserts left right of number plate, also to cut the heavy back.....

So Chris Harris compares this car to the GT3 multiple times in his test and it's an amazing review. Anyone else does it and everyone says how dare you compare it to the GT3..hmmmmm

I wouldn't mind it for a track car. I don't know if I could drive it daily. I probably could, but getting in and out of it is a pain in the ass. I still really like the look of it and the thought that it's better than the old one.

Clearly this Lotus has a lot more going on with it than the OP suggested and for that, I give Tim props for the post. Still don't think he needed to take any of this as anything more than serious coffee shop talk.
I'll leave this here.

"The Lotus Exige V6 S is, in my opinion, the finest sports car I’ve ever driven and beats the Porsche 911 GT3 hands down."
Yes he mentions the GT3 a couple of times but didn't make it the leading premise of the review.
agree. And it's a very small car.
