MAC OS question

If I have 10 files on my desktop, and I want to see their aggregate size on the hard drive, how do I get that info? If I highlight them all, and right click "get info", it gives me the info for each file and I have to add it up myself.

How do I get it to show one aggregate number?

Put them in a new folder and check it's size?

Try clicking on your Finder, then it shows the "desktop" . Click "get info" from that.

Thanks. Interesting that you can't multiple select a few files and right click like you can in Windows.
There must be an easier way we just don't know... anyway, thanks!

Yeah, I havn't found a way for it yet, but it's not that utterly important you know Dragging the stuff to a folder takes about 5s.

I don't have 5 secs to waste! Maybe I should look at loosening up my schedule?

Yup, this works! Make sure to click on one of the actual folders and not just anywhere on the desktop.
