I dont want to be a whiny bi@tch by posting here but seriously they have to be one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and I do want people to know that they are not being very honest when they said it was gonna take a month to complete the wheels. I do have to give credit where its due, they have some really nice designs, but its still not alright to just flat out lie on the ETA when u know the wheels are gonna be much much longer than expected. The people at ADV told me in early february that it was going to be 4-6 weeks and now ten weeks later, they are still not ready... And to make matter worst, I am a returning customer as this is my second set with them. It really does not pay to be a returning customer to adv.. Anyway My PO# 2773, for SLS AMG, if anybody from ADV want to response to this please be my guest. Its dated 14 feb, thats when they received the order and put it through their system so people and its april 25th today.
I ordered lots of rims in my lifetime (A couple of HRES, Modulares, carlsson, brabus) and most of them would deliver within the time frame promised, or at most they'll be late for a week, but definitely not 4 weeks n still ocounting. The vendor has been very good to me and I know they have no control/input whatsoever with production so I am not here to blame them. The vendor did tell me it was supposed to be completed this week, I am totally not convinced but we'll see.
I will post back once I hear any news from adv1 or the vendor.

 

I hope its not another 360 Forged in the making... isn't this what brought them down?

 

Update: They now said its gonna be done next week but they cant give me any ETA... great! its not like they have only been saying next week since 3 weeks ago, so I am keeping my finger crossed... NOT! Wish me luck people.

 

I have not done business with them yet, however....I did send Jordan a email asking for a quote and some information and it took probably 2 weeks to even get a response from one of his guys who he forwarded the email to. Now I've written back 3-4 days ago with some followup questions with no response.

I've heard so much good about them that I thought it was odd, but maybe its SOP for them.

 

Well to be honest they did deliver the last wheels i ordered from them (BTW they were late with those orders too, even though they r not as late as this one) , so I don't think they'll pull another 360 forged. Its just seemed they can never fulfill what they promised on time. They always have to come up with exscuses about parts being not in stock or back order or whatever but its always something with them. We just have to wait and see. Thanks for ur concern.

Updates:
just received a reply from Adv. They apologised for being late blah blah blah and basically the 21" step lip rim parts was on backorder, including the 21x8.5 inners. And now the parts r in and they the wheels are in the finishing process.
Lets just hope this is the case.

 

I sent them an inquiry for a set of 20's on my CLS63 and got a response 3 weeks later. They obviously won't be seeing a dime from me..

 

Unfortunate to hear these complaints...these wheels definitely aren't cheap, but then again $ doesn't correlate with customer service.
