10 weeks later and 3.5K poorer, my ADV.1 wheels are still not here...

I guess since they have 300 orders being processed they don't need my business. Good for them

Guys - thank you for reading my post, I tried my best to explain the details to you guys so you understand if interested.
The bottom line is that unfortunately we deal with this alot, it's not anyone here that over promises in fact my staff knows the importance of being conservative on lead times given. If anyone stated 4-6 weeks on this order, it could have been one of multiple quotes given on any combination of wheel styles / configurations which may be longer or shorter lead time. For example if this order did not require engineering, and was a "repeat" file we call it which is already engineered / programmed and requires no changes to the file, the lead time could potentially be up to 5 weeks faster than one that does require even the smallest change to an existing file. When the dealer, in this case Sonic Motorsports calls their ADV.1 rep, in this case Carlos and asks for lead time they'll get the straight answer as our sales staff has no reason to overpromise anyone. What is relayed to the customer by the dealer is out of our control and unfortunately is over promised more often than not. This is why we created the status section of our site, so that the end user can actually see for himself when the order was placed and what the status is from us directly, no bs just facts.
In terms of customer service and order updates / responses, we're not in communication with most end users, only the retail dealers and it's their job as our retail outlet to update and accurately inform their clients. We sell wholesale only and the reason for this is because they can provide local service and support as well as facilitate orders directly, we deal with the dealer internally and they know how we operate and who to contact if they have a question, need an update or whatever the reason. In this case we have no status update requests or email communication on this order so we simply produce them as we do all orders, through normal production with status updates on our site for anyone who's interested.
if you paid with a credit card, cash, wire, whatever the form it has nothing to do with us, we don't get it the dealer does. We receive a purchase order, we process the wheels and we deliver them and once they're done we get paid. I explain this because some of you commented on the subject and I want to be clear that we have no interest in sitting on anyones money and our sales guys are under no pressure to make a deal or not, only to facilitate and support their dealers. It's the dealers responsibility to keep their clients accurately informed and they're well aware of this.
I'd love to discuss this with you (OP) over the phone if you'd like, in fact a conference call with said dealer would be even better. Regardless, yes rest assured your wheels are close to completion and will be delivered soon - this I can promise. Should you or anyone else wish to discuss this with me please feel free to email me at jordan@adv1wheels.com and/ or call me directly at 305.251.0200

Does it require posting public to get a set of ADV1 wheels sooner than 4 months? Or any type of response?
Also, I have been waiting for weeks for an answer to some constructive questions regarding your engineer, and months have gone by with your claims of TUV manufacturers certification. Any news?

This question was posted over 20 days ago, with no response. Jordan, I know you personally have been following this thread. You state that you are now hearing that response has taken longer than it's suppose to.
Yet, yourself have not been responsive to questions to your team. There are a lot of customers all asking the same questions, would just be nice to have an answer that sounds like it's trying to hide the truth.
