the SLS is much more flamboyant in aesthetics and experience than a 612 too, odd to say the italian car is less flamboyant, but in this case it is.

as a result the merc gets a lot of attention, don't know if you're into that but it comes with the territory. its a bit of an event driving that thing.

then the SLS would be a chore for you, its gets a surprising amount of attention, even in a dark color. i was happy to be done with it after 30 mins. if i were you i would look for a 612, they have had a big depreciation hit already, you could scoop up a mint example for a bargain.

I just don't like the long time between pressing the paddle shift and the actual gear change. The transmission is fast, but just seems to take too long to get the order.

It's not flamboyant in darker colours.

I do not think it is flashy in the flesh and that's why I like it.

There is a gentleman near me with a maroon colored one. The exhaust is intoxicating. I also like the true "cockpit" feel. Dark brown hide and carbon would be my choice.

regarding the tranny if it was a true sports car that would bother me but since I consider it more of a GT car I think the tranny is good enough I mean its really an auto

If there are problems with the door that you can reach it whilst your sitting, whilst entering the car you can bring down the door with you. It is as easy as that!

I did not find any issues with the door, it is a bit annoying yes but I dont think there is any issue getting closed just requires more effort than a typical style door
