Thumbs up 2010 C63 AMG introduces the "AMG development Package" P31

And discontinues the "AMG Performance Package". (Option Code P30)

LSD will be a stand alone option $2,000.00 USD

In the new pacakge it will:

*Increase HP to 481
*Light Weight AMG Forged Pistons
*Light Weight Connecting Rods
*Revised Crankshaft
*New Engine Managment
*AMG Compound Braking System
*Red Brake Calipers
*New CF Rear Trunk Spoiler
* Top Speed of 174mph!
* New Alacantera AMG Steering Wheel

$5,950 USD

This will take effect on December Production Cars; so if your car is a December Build, and you ordered P30, it will automatically be deleted and replaced with Option P31. So ask your dealer!

The first option I would tick if I was to order one.

AMG has it's sights on a few companies and its out for blood.

Primarily Porsche. It's watched time and time again PAG and PCNA make it's money and sell its units by building more the beloved 911 and other cars with their T Equipment Options. Giving the clients a 'more unique' experience.

You wait; They're going to leave BMW's M Division in the dust. Literally and Profitability wise.

Soon you'll be able to order Red Belts, Red Gauges to match those Red Calipers on your C, E, S and SL63. Custom woods, Carbon Fiber, exhaust systems. In addition, and MORE importantly AMG is producing fewer cars. More unique cars. Better cars with 'unique to that car' engines, transmissions and front end's.

It started with the C. Then the SL63. Now the E63 with entirely different wheel base and front end then the normal E Class and it's MCT transmission.

Soon, we'll have the SLS AMG; the tip of the iceberg of what AMG's Future looks like.

Bright!
