I can't believe you were actually able to purchase the car after finally tracking it down. That's awesome! The car looks absolutely perfect. I'm willing to bet if the guy who was going to buy the car saw it, he wouldn't have let you take it. Haha. I can't believe it has pretty much no mileage. Enjoy it.

Congrats on purchase. I owned SL55 AMG two years ago for a very short period of time and I must say it is one the best performance cars I have ever owned.

Enjoy your car in the best of health.

Car looks great, Chuck! Great wheel and spoiler choice. So you you were interested in buying it because it was practically brand new, but are now going to daily drive it? The appeal to you was the condition over the mileage?

Very nice pickup! Finding a car with miles that low doesn't come around too often. An SL AMG is on my list as my next car for sure. btw, I have the same Vredestein tires on my Audi and love them!

Awesome!! Love the SL55, those wheels are perfect! You plan on doing any Engine/ECU mods? A pulley, and a tune make a big difference.

Thanks guys for all the great comments! Much appreciated.

The two options I forgot to mention are Handsfree Phone and Active Ventilated seats.

Actually we didn't buy it to make it a daily driver. There are a couple others for that duty. If we're buying a used car I always try to find the best example possible and usually one of the criteria is low mileage. I was stoked to find one with as few miles as this one. So I guess to answer your question; it was both the condition and the mileage. I hate that AMGs depreciate like they do but as a buyer when you can get basically a brand new car for MUCH less than half it's new MSRP it's hard to pass it up.

Probably not. Maybe do the exhaust b/c I do like to hear them..... This car has ~500 bhp stock and for the purposes of this car (a fun vert) I'm not really interested in any more power.
