E55 Market
A buddy of mine is looking into the E55 market. There are some pretty decent high mileage cars out there under $30k. He's hoping to get a stock unmolested car. How reliable are these things? It will be his only car, so reliability is a big thing.
Also any leads to potential cars <$30,000 would be great!

I would have loved to help as my neighbor just sold his, it was all stock, white/black, 25k miles, and he sold it for 21k.

That's about right. The cars are pretty bulletproof, but usually these guys start to sell the cars right when they're having problems.

Fairly low mileage... designio interior it appears... I think this thing is pretty sweet and for sure could be had for <$30k

i have had mine for a while. its an 04 with 35k miles on it now. no problems at all. no issues, i bring it to the dealer every 10k miles like the car tells me too...last bill was $600 for basic service.
