I have the simple smart cover from Apple on my new iPad "3." It works okay - but not perfect. I need a bit more angle and the cover seems to pick up junk when it is in the triangle "up" position on a table.

I don't get the whole "condom for your Apple" product though. A certain amount of protection, sure - but an iPad shouldn't be banged around like your phone. Screen protector is mainly for propping it up. Those things can take a beating.
