Apple is kind of back in my good book.

My new machine had taken a massive dump. hard stops every 30 minutes or so, full system freeze with no recovery other then a full restart of the machine. Overheating so much I could put the kettle on it and make tea.

So brought it in, the genuses had never seen anything like it. They played with it for about a minute and got it to hang a few times. Full refund, no questions asked. Upgraded to the mid spec 13 air as the one I borrowed from my folks was so good. -150 points or so in geekbench down but it feels snappier then my old system.

Got to dump all my stuff on it now which should take me a few hours. But man they had good service.
