I did read the first post, before I posted each time. I would be thinking that re-downloading of the apps would help at least with furthering along the accessibility of any such lost files.

 

This is correct. If it was purchased on your iTunes account then all you need to do is log in and go to purchases and download again.

hint, you will be surprised when you go into the store how far being nice will get you. The people working the genius bar literally have the ability to help someone who is out of warranty if they want to based completely on how they feel the customer will promote the Apple brand when they leave the store. Go in with with your typical TS 'tude and you will get no place kid. Then try telling them how much Apple sucks and see if that helps.

Like everyone has said, if you properly backed up your data this would not be an issue. We all have had to learn this at some point.

Hey, when am I not polite? I may state my opinions, but I'm never rude .

Anyways, once again, it's not the apps that's the problem, it's the documents. One of the first things I did was redownload Pages and there's nothing there. There's no question that I'm frustrated with Apple, but that doesn't mean that I'm gonna go in there with guns blazin just to ruin some guy's day. If they don't know how to fix it though, I'm certainly going to let them know what I'm thinking.
