I have been on the dark side for about 4 years too, and my issue was $$ before I got my first Macbook as well. I just got my MB Pro the last time I was home from Iraq, and it rocks as usual. I run the full Office for Mac suite, as well as my Snow Leopard OS and have never had any problems, except when the internet is SLOW... Love my MB Pro, iPad, iPods, etc. Now if only Sprint would buy the damn iPhone!
