Congrats! I have a 27 in iMac. I can't be any happier, I'm sure you will be the same.

I got it a couple of days ago and other then getting to navigate all the differences between a MAC and PC it is amazing. Love the dashboard and the ease of use. I finally understand why they cost more then the equivalent PC but it's worth every penny. Already have scheduled a One on One appointment this week. Once my daughter goes off to college next year she will have an Apple Laptop and we will donate the Dell we bought her when she entered HS 3 years ago.

The One on One appointment will surely get you running smoothly on that fantastic machine. Good luck.

There's really no reason to own a PC anymore unless:

1) You play a lot of games (this might not really even be true anymore, a lot of games are being developed for Mac too now)

2) You like your computers made of cheap plastic.

3) You are poor.

What's the deal with donating your old pc?
I'm trying to get my girlfriend off her HP garbagetop and into a mac.

I got my MBP back in the summer, and I can't stand even getting on a pc anymore. Apple is where it's at. Such good machines.
