Backup Parallels to Time Capsule

Is there a way to back up incremental changes only in the parallels environment. My goal is to avoid stuffing the TC with redundant large files.

In lieu of TC backup in the VM i'm backing data to drop box and a USB stick.

Are backblaze or carbonite offsite programs a better choice for full parallels back ups?

I'm a mac noobie, TIA

Number of ways to go about this...

Easiest method is to just create a shard folder outside of the VM, which Time Machine will back up as anything else. This is a good practice regardless, as if the VM image gets mangled, you're SOL whether it's backed up or not.

Alternatively, you can use Snapshots within Parallels for incremental backups.

Another option still would be to install something like MacDrive on the VM and access the Time Capsule directly from the windows instance, though this is a particularly bad practice from a "windows is crap and likes to eat things" standpoint.
