Loving the new phone! For those who complain about reception go get Clear 4G service and you can use video chat without worrying about reception issues! It is astounding that they sold 1,700,000 phones on release while the Android EVO sold only 150,000. I think the majority agrees which one is the phone to get. People are very accepting of the average service provided by AT&T just to use the iPhone. Once the iPhone goes Verizon or Tmobile it is pretty much over for the competitors unfortunately.

People buy into the hype surrounding an apple launch. No doubt its a great phone ( so is the evo, arguably the better phone, minus the average battery ). People by the ' revolutionary ' gobbledegook that apple spills out, because its written attractively on their home page under a nice photo of the iphone.

Apples stock price is built around this hype and marketing. There's no way apples market cap should be ahead of microsofts.

 

^Completely wrong. Money talks. And Apple is making a shitload of it. 3MM ipads in 80 days? At about $700 a pop, that alone justifies like $100B worth of market cap at a decent multiple. Forget about all the ipods, macbooks, iphones and iphone data revenue that they make money from, and they're already halfway there.
