Hmm...I pre-ordered the 16 gig for $199 and was eligible for the upgrade.

Hoss, depending on where you are, just go in to the Apple store the day after, or to a place like Best Buy the day of. Most people don't think of places like Best Buy, but they generally will stock it the day of.
