1. How in the hell can I order the iPhone4? I'm due for an upgrade with ATT, but the web site is not accepting orders.

Apparently people are having luck with the apple store app on their iphone and ordering through that ( if your talking about ordering with apple, not ATT ).

 

Pitch a tent outside an Apple store and get one on launch day lol.

We ordered two the first day (Tuesday?). They will be delivered on June 24th. We ordered one the next day and the SHIP date was July 20th! I'm not sure you're gonna pick one up at the store the week after they come out. Maybe, but I doubt it . . .

 

If anyone can give me a tip on getting one on June 24, that does not involve standing in line for hours, I would greatly appreciate it. I shattered my screen on my 3G a month or so ago and this sucker is on its last leg.

 

Honestly, you should be fine just stopping by the store either the day of the launch, or even the day after. The only thing that's unfortunate is that you're pretty much guaranteed to be standing in a line on launch with a bunch of Apple geeks.

In-store reservations are holds only for launch day, after which, the items are free to be sold. Sad as it might sound, not all are picked up on launch day. Show up the next morning, and you should be able to nab one just fine. That said, I wouldn't hang my hat on that alone; show up in the morning only if you went away sad and disillusioned the night prior.

 

I did a preorder at Radio shack, no deposit or anything which I found weird. They took my information and said they would call me on the 24th to come pick it up when it becomes available.

 

Am I the only one that until this AM thought that an upgraded 32gig was $299? Just found out if your upgrading even if you are eligible it's a $100 charge... So $299 for 16gig and $399 for 32gig...

SUCH BS!
