Graphic design... maybe. I.e. photoshop, illustrator. As far as running 64bit maya, mudbox/zbrush, houdini, and rendering using multiple procs. My first choice would be a linux machine, fallowed by windows, then mac.

Just my personal experience.

My only learning curve was the minimize, maximize, and close functions are now on the left hand side.
