Way to get Music off New Gen Ipod Nano to CPU's Hard drive?

so, i finally got around to trying this, and didnt have too much luck...

this is what i entered:

cp -Rp "/Volumes/NAV/iPod_Control/Music/" ~/iPod

this is what i got back:

cp: /Volumes/NAV/iPod_Control/Music//._F00: could not copy extended attributes to /Users/nav/iPod/._F00: Operation not permitted

cp: /Volumes/NAV/iPod_Control/Music//._F01: could not copy extended attributes to /Users/nav/iPod/._F01: Operation not permitted

cp: /Volumes/NAV/iPod_Control/Music//._F02: could not copy extended attributes to /Users/nav/iPod/._F02: Operation not permitted

i tried google for some answers, but anything i found seemed like it was in german. any suggestions??
