My wireless mighty mouse just crapped out on me. The scroll ball stopped working. First time an apple product has let me down.

Edit: and it just started working again after failing for an hour. Weird.

Folks have tried just cleaning the scroll ball using a damp cloth/towel right? Mine sometimes sticks in one direction and works like a charm after cleaning it.

The Apple mice are way to small if you have larger hands, It will give you chronic fatigue.

Tablet all the way.

This was my original complaint. I've gone through 3 mice because the scroll ball stopped working. If it's out of warranty you're screwed. I read on the apple.com forum that this is a very common problem.

Funny thing is that my scroll ball started working again a few days ago. WHen it happens again, I'll buy a logitech.

I just got off the phone with Apple, the only reason the mighty mouse ball stops scrolling is because of oil buildup from your finger. They told me to take a damp cloth, rub vigirously on the scrolling ball for a minute and it will begin to work again. It worked for me, ball scrolls perfectly. Give it a try.
