cruising through Macrumors forums I found a concept that would be perfect for "couch surfing" when your mac is connected to your HD LCD/Plasma...

Wireless keyboard with built in trackpad...

My friend has a logitech that has the same features and it's great.

anyone else?

Cool idea! I'm one of those couch potatoes and have to sit with a book next to me to use as a mouse pad.

I'd like the little stick remotes to be wireless, not infrared, so I could control my music etc when I'm outside or in another room.

Apple already has the right click. Either tap two fingers on the trackpad (preferences configured accordingly) or control click. This has been around for years.

As for the ads, well to each their own. I wouldn't mind seeing a completely revamped Mac Mini, with the option of replacing the Superdrive with a second hard drive. That, coupled with DisplayPort, updated processor/graphics card, would be fairly nice. Maybe a bit more of customizable options, but thats it.

i do not mean to be a dick, but how does tap two fingers or control click = right click?

i said right click because that is exactly what i mean, i want a laptop with two buttons under the track pad.

New macbooks/ pros, don't have any buttons fwiw. 1 finger click= left click... 2 finger click = right click. fairly intuitive

I wouldn't mind some kind of tablet for surfing the internet on the couch, like a larger iPhone

Something like this TechCrunch Tablet Update: Prototype B

the buttonless trackpads have a setting where if you click in either the bottom right or bottom left corner its considered a right-click.

at this point when I dont feel like moving at all when surfing, I just use a track wheel.
