Clutch Helper Spring Replaced But Clutch Pedal On The Floor
I just replaced the helper spring on my 82 911sc. Everything went well, but when I was reassembling everything, I moved the clutch cable to the side and heard what I now think was the clutch pedal hitting the floor. Now I have way too much cable to connect throw out arm.
The cable is still connected at the pedal, everything looks in good shape. I found a post where someone mentioned putting a wrench behind the pedal during adjustment (not mentioned in the 101 book)
What am I missing. The car wasn't moving, so I've go to believe something is disconnected somewhere...
