Anyone have issues of headers scraping? did dealer do anything?

new 991 is 5 days old and already with just daily driving the headers have scraped a few times, vehicle is stock height and the highest they come (non PASM).... the previous 997.1 and 997.2 headers did not extend past the bottom of engine but new ones do (did) over 1"...

if anyone had scraped and so forth, did the dealer do anything about it? im not concerned about the dents in the headers but moreso the after affects from the impact, like cracking/etc...the 997.2 headers i know were very prone to cracking...

thoughts?

i put a call into my local porsche dealer service manager, i have had 4 brand new porsches there for service so hopefully they see that i'm not some random joe...i honestly feel it's a design flaw as none of my previous porsches or my lotus has ever had this issue, and they were much lower.

GS997S is an unknown quantity at this point
What would you expect the dealer to do? I am sure if you want to pay for it, they can replace the header.

just to make note because future people will have same issue, on the 997.2 lots of people had cracked headers and then they covered them all.

as far as replacing, that would be silly as the expensive part of the header is perfect, would just need to pull the dents out by heating up and using a dent remover pin.

Sounds like a bad design, but I don't know how the dealer is going to fix it. Putting on a new set will not cause them to not rub in the future. Maybe if it's a large concern some aftermarket headers are a good option for you
