Like Ive been saying, 991 is just no comparison. Anyone who want to sit and complain about the changes and the steering REALLy needs to drive one!

And Marc call me we just got a white S cab :-) LOL

If I were getting a 911 to flip, I'd go for the 991 - I had a good offer on a base Carrera to my spec. However, this car is a keeper (hold your laughter til the end please). Too much to go wrong with the 991. With the 997, I can fix the IMS/RMS thing, and maybe PASM will crap out. The rest is mostly bulletproof mechanicals. The 991 has too many electronic gadgets (like current Ferraris, Lamborghinis, etc.).

Good luck Mark - I just hope you're leasing it!

Well - yes and no. We cannot deny that some people felt this difference..people didnt invent this.

Saying its no comparison is always depending to what you compare..my opinion was always that "normal" 911s were never really "mindblowing"..

For me real Porsches are (and mindblowing): 962, Carrera GT, 964 turbo, 930 turbo, 997 GT2, 997 GT3..

A normal 911 (991) is just another normal 911..like a 997S was etc..

I'll probably geta 997 before i get a 991. But every model 911 since post 1989 got more complex.

Certainly 964, 993's . 99's and 997's are each more complex than their predesessors.

I do however do agree that perhaps there is more risk with first model year.

Chris, have you driven a 991 yet?
