Hi Sideways swede,

Yes the GTR is for its price a remarkable car..however, we all know Nissans Marketing blunders (and sorry for my words - fake promises). Forgot the story of the first GTR - supposidly quicker than a CGT on the ring? sport Auto did the test..and guess what happened.

the topspeed link - doesnt say anthing, I only believe in independently confirmed numbers..manufacturers claims are one thing - reality my be another.

If you believe these times - than the Nissan must "trash" a Mclaren for example - which was tested at 7:28. You cant be seriously believing this..

Again the GTR is a good car, but guys - if youre trying to tell me that it can even dust GT2RS, Mclaren etc..then you should better go to the doctors..

This thread reminds me of old threads Ive read when the Lancer Evo first came out.

People were comparing the car to the more expensive e46m3 then..

Awd vs RWD
Evo is cheaper than the M3
Price is cheaper as well..
M3 had better interior, the evo was a lancer box... Etc you get the idea.

Apples and oranges... Complete different driving feel.

Honestly, awd and turbo are just not for me. Rwd + NA please.
