Great photos!! Didn't like the carbon trims... makes it look old... brushed alum. looks more suitable for this cabin...

I feel that it's too soft in general - looks heavy and less like a sports car. I'm sure the GT3 interior will look ace...

Where will the start/stop button be for keyless go? I am not seeing it in any pictures. The key insertion point is certainly different than previous models but I haven't seen a start stop button...

there's no start/stop button for Porsche. the keyless system has a key fob thing already inserted in the key hole. u don't need the key in ur pocket. u just turn the already inserted fob the car will start.

that's not for starting the engine. it's for activate/deactivate the auto start stop function for fuel economy purpose.

That's right, no push-button start on any Porsche at this time. The Entry & Drive option is simply an electronic fob already inserted in the ignition. You still need the key fob to open the doors, etc, but the Entry & Drive allows you start the car without inserting the key fob into the ignition.

From Porsche website:
With Porsche Entry & Drive, you can avoid the inconvenience of using a conventional key.

To enter the car, simply touch the door handle and the system automatically checks the encrypted access code on the key in your pocket. If the code is accepted, the doors are unlocked and you can step inside. To start or stop the engine, simply turn the ignition key.

When you leave the car, all you have to do is press a button on the outside of the door handle. Porsche Entry & Drive then locks the car and arms the immobilizer.

I like how you still have to actually turn the key to start the engine. Push button starts are so stupid, especially when you have the ignition on the left.

agreed ^

Thanks guys. I am relieved not to see a button for start stop.

Also I am very glad to know that you can disable the autostop/start of the engine. Not sure why but the idea of this scares me. I want to be able to drop the clutch and go if something comes up. Just in case. I see it as losing a bit of emergency preparedness in the name of a few mild MPGs.
