Is the 991 (with decent spec) overpriced?

Is the 991 (with decent spec) overpriced?
Configured a decent spec 991 C2S the other day online:
£75k base + £35k option = £110k
That's just mental for a C2S!! Nearly +50% for just options.
The residual on options are pretty much zero, so what with tax and options, this thing is going to depreciate like crazy!

Patience has always proven to be the rational approach to take with exotics or for that matter anything in today's financial climate. No one needs a 991. The market will determine true value if you allow it time. Unfortunately people will always disrupt the marketplace with greed and need. Two terrible traits that have over time have proven to be a disaster for most consumers.

I don't think its overpriced. A loaded new '99 996, after inflation is calculated in, doesn't cost that much less than a nicely optioned 991.
I think one of the reasons the 911 seems overpriced is because of just how practical of a car it is. Sometimes you have to think twice before you realize it can do the Nordschleife in well under 8 minutes.
