teaspe is an unknown quantity at this point
Through the video, did you find that the rear designation of the blue car is "Carrera S"? Why did Porsche just officially announce the option of "911" or "911 Carrera S" at the rear?

The 911 formula was a perfect as it was and I'm not seeing the point for adding an extra gear.

If it's not broken then don't fix it.

We could all still be driving around in horse driven carriages , but development and progression is what created cars like the 911 to begin with. I'm all for them further developing the car.

Coasting is an interesting function, but I doubt how often car owners will use it?

i seriously hate the idea of the engine switching off when at stand still, i really wouldnt want my car to do that, i could se all sorts of issues arising

as for the 7 speed manual, could porsche just be saving money rather than making 2 gear boxes? or it the pdk totaly diferent (2 half boxes)

Just be happy guys that Porsche didn't ditch the manual like most other sports car companies. They know what the enthusiasts want, and by adding a 7th gear it shows they aren't planning on not offering a manual for a very long time.
