A friend of mine is an automotive journalist and he's in Stuttgart about to go to the official reveal of the 991 at the museum. All the big bosses will be their - corporate, design, engineers etc. My friend knows I'm a huge Porsche fan and asked if I had any questions, so I'm throwing it open to you. What do you want to know? Will there be a WB version of the RWD (GTS-like)? That's what I'm interested in. I guess that assumes that the AWD models will have a WB relative to the RWD cars...so maybe verify whether the AWD cars will be WB first...

I just saw the rumor about the cabs getting a metal folding roof. Ask about that.

 

Will there be a Carrera R? You know like a base model Carrera with no rear seats, no AC, no cupholders, door pulls, no sunroof, no PCM, little noise insulation, stiffer suspension, etc. Kind of like a Clubsport.

 

I highly doubt that. How are they going to strip down that interior? It was made for all those buttons, just having it blank with a cubby at the end wouldn't appeal to me.
