it does look bloated! You are correct. I'm not liking the fact that it keeps getting larger. The 4.0 GT3 looks amazing. 993 >997> 991

love the rear, but hate the front so far. I will wait till I see one in the flesh to make my final judgment tho
either way, I think I like the 997.2 more overall, That 4.0 shot is superior!

Does anybody else think there is too much car behind the rear wheel arch?
Edit - After looking at pictures of 996s and 997s online, the rear overhangs are pretty similar. It's just rare that you are that low and staring at a 911 dead from the side. In real life, they rear and rear quarter look amazing.

While I am sure it will grow on us the front has a feel of a Jaguar Etype and/or other Alfa Romeos.

Looking at this picture I notice how much lower the nose looks, especially the middle part between the lights.
I don't mean to get carried away but that particular part of the 991 kinda reminds me of the McLaren F1. I like it!

Not a fan of this thing just yet party because it's a basic carerra model and party because this car is not special enough and more of a cash cow, I think with the evolving 3RS line and the way Porsche is consistently making them better and better ,that car will be the highlight of the 991 series imo.
