Also one had the camo on the tail lights partially off. They are much like the renderings. Probably half the height of the 997 tails and about as long. But hey look longer because they so thin. Very slick looking and recessed into the body, but that could have been the cladding puffing up the body.

Awesome spotting! So did you see that the decklid vanes have a gap between thee edges of them and the rest of the decklid (adjustable vanes)? That's awesome!

Do you have any pictures of the 997-993? How good was the disguise?

It looks that way. I never saw them move, but on the 997 you can see the engine lid is just one panel that moves up in the carrera, where as these looking a little different. Also there were to fans side by side pretty much taking up all the space just below the engine lid.

They never opened those up, but they did open up some of bonnets. All appeared to have exposed cables coming from the front shocks. So I would assume that adjustable is now standard.

The 997 was just just make to looks square'er then what is is, especially in the front.

Oh well I hope the turbos come around soon. Would like to catch them too.

I've always thought the 997 would be hard to top, it seems like I was wrong!

thanks for sharing, and can't wait to see more details!

Yeah as you can see normal rag tops. There were no Targa's, and strangely not one of the cars had a sunroof.

I recall seeing the panemera in SA also doing such testing on the M1 just before the m1/n1 split ... Nice spot ...
