Be prepared if anything happens and the car you bought is NOT CPO. Infact, call your local Porsche dealer and ask them how much a crate motor costs to replace.
CPO also covers:
All parts are replaced with OEM Porsche parts prior to sale
99% of the time all cars get brand new OEM tires
Brakes
Freshly Serviced
All Warranty issues addressed
Guarantee's you against frame damage, sheetmetal replaced and paintwork on more than two panels.
You can spend less, but what are your guarantee's? With a NON CPO car? ZERO.
Do your research and if need be, hire a 3rd party PPI company. There ARE clean non CPO cars out there. But if you're on a budget and don't feel like setting aside the $22k for a new engine b/c it blew a RMS or some other issue....
Spend a little more on the CPO car. -You'll know 100% what you're getting is backed by PORSCHE.

Sure you can. I know people here in Chile who drives 997 Carrera S, 997 Turbo, 997 GT2, even a GT3 RS MKI for a daily drive. The non-GT models you can live with for sure, the other depends on were you drive and what you are up to sacrifice. Porsche are meant to be real life cars anyway...
