This car is a good bang for the buck compared to pricing on a reg Carrera S with options. Love the power kit option, just needs a ducktail!

I friggin' love it.
Two ways of looking at this car:
1) It's a C2S with a widebody, more power, and nicer bumpers.
2) It's a slightly-tamed down GT3 (and still widebody!).

Either way I think it's sexy and perfect for a DD sports car. GT3 is obviously nicer but it's also $15K more MSRP? I would not DD a new GT3, personally. No sunroof and way too stiff.
DONT CALL ME A VAG UNTIL YOUVE DD'd A CAR WITH SKATEBOARD SUSPENSION.

Anybody know if the standard steel brakes are from the Carreras or the new-for-MY10 GT3 steelies?

Buy one, put the new Fuchs on it and get a license plate that says "HEART2FUCH"!

Nice to see widebody Carrera S, but... If porsche will follow this way, we can expect others and others... maybe Turbo Targa ( not so bad IMHO ). It seems that it is still make profits for company but looks silly for purists.

What will be next? Any ideas? Carrera RS ( cheaper version of GT3 RS with 3.8 Carrera S engine ), Targa S, Sport Classic Cabrio? Blee.

This "Carrera GTS" badge looks terrific. Simple GTS would be better...and There could be more visual changes with comparition to standard "S".

^^ Strange that you mentioned Carrera RS. Someone on rennlist said the the next-gen model will only have a Carrera S, and a Carrera RS, no base model. I didn't believe it, and neither should you, but it's still interesting.

I like it. It would make a more useful daily driver than a GT3, while still getting a nice bump in power and style over a regular C2S. I'm holding out for the Cayman RS (or Clubsport, whatever they call it...).
