TPC Racing CT-520 Turbo Product Development UPDATE!

Hey Guys!

I have got some great news! As many of you are aware, we have been developing our 997S CT-520 (turbo conversion) for some time now, but have been having some development issues lately with some of the Porsche ECUs.

This week, we were able to make a huge leap forward on the 2005 model year car, that was giving Mike a headache. Well, Mike was just able to take a couple giant painkillers in the form of some promising new dyno charts.

ENJOY!!!!

First, we have a dyno chart of a BONE STOCK 997S vs the TPC Racing 997S CT-520. You can see, that even at an EXTREMELY conservative 4.5lbs of boost, this car is already making a MASSIVE 450whp and 370lb/ft of torque vs the stock car's 300whp and 244lb/ft. That's a gain of 150whp and 125lb/ft of torque!!! We haven't even dumped in any race fuel or turned up the boost! We are now experimenting with even larger turbochargers and higher boost levels. By the end of this project we easily expect to see over 500whp!

Even in its unfinished state, the TPC Racing CT-520 Turbo Conversion far out performs our old TPC Racing Supercharger Kits. In this chart we are comparing the CT-520 Turbo to a 997S with a TPC Supercharger Kit. You see that power has climbed by nearly 50whp while the boost dropped by an entire 3lbs of boost! In addition, A/F ratios are much nicer, and even though we switched from an EATON M90 Supercharger to the TPC Racing Turbocharger, almost no power was lost in the low RPMs making the CT-520 Turbo just as responsive and more fun to drive than the supercharged cars. With the TPC Racing CT-520 Turbo Conversion, turbo lag is a thing of the past!

Even on our lowest, most conservative setting, a 997S will be putting down at least 450whp! AMAZING! Mike has been so please with the performance of the cars, that he is going full steam ahead with some new turbo combinations in the quest for even more power!! More updates to come!
