You can pretty much take an AWD 911 anywhere at all. Personally, if I ordered a 911, I'd get a C2S, but I'd place a very exclusive and special order requesting the C4S body. If you've ever seen how they build the 911, it wouldn't be that hard to complete the order.

And you would do this at a cost that more than likely exceeds GT3RS pricing...

This is true, but the GT3 is a much more compromised (for the road) car. I bought my C4S with the intention of driving it year-round (we get snow here). In the end, I bought a GTI since I couldn't bring myself to subject the 911 to salt and idiot drivers.

So yes, I should have bought a GT3.

If I wanted a 911, it wouldn't be down to cost for the money. I wouldn't care if I paid 300k for a 911 slower than the GT3. If I bought a 911, I'd want it to be as special to me as possible, not as fast.

This^^^ (really!)

Spoken like a true Porscheaphile.

The reasons are as personal as what specific wine or beer, or cigar, or boat a person likes.

Not to mention this whole topic on why a 4 versus a 2 and the positives and negetives of each has been debated to exhaustion on other forums....

buy it for YOU and be done with it.

I want a c4s. It looks so good from the behind, plus how badass would it be to drive to all my skiercross races in a Porsche with a box on top? Too bad the only way is if I could get Porsche or a dealer to sponsor me.
